Policies & Standards
Trend Setters College of Cosmetology sets forth specific policies for the purpose of promoting a positive learning environment and a pathway to career success. Professional conduct is the only level of conduct expected from each of the future professionals in the school. Developing efficient work habits, a positive attitude and definite goals during training can only enhance a graduates potential for success. As a beauty school in Illinois, we have these policies in place to help you grow and develop in your beauty career.
Students are expected to follow all rules on policies. A complete list of policies and expectations will be given out on orientation. Students will be expected to read these and sign a statement showing that they understand the guidelines and are willing to abide by them.
Licensing Requirements
In order to obtain your license in the State of Illinois, you must pass a Pre-State licensing examination which you are able to take only after obtaining the following amount of hours in each course of study:
Cosmetology : 1500 Hours
Esthetics : 750 Hours
Nail Technology : 350 Hours

Enrollment Requirements
To enroll at Trend Setters College of Cosmetology you must have a high school diploma or successfully completed a high school equivalency certificate.
